This position is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable function, but also may include support of other Accounting functions in areas such as A/R, month-end, and general accounting.

  • Review invoices and statements for accuracy
  • Code and process incoming invoices (3-way match) according to company procedures
  • Upload invoices into ERP System
  • Respond to vendor inquiries, research and resolve billing disputes Maintain proper back up files for research and reference
  • Research for audits, provide backup                                                                                                                                                     
  • Ensure compliance with all standard accounting polices and SOX requirements Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers
  • Communicate as necessary with accounting team to ensure invoices are processed timely
  • Assist in the month-end closing process
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
  • High School diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, in-person and by telephone Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of basic accounting math and accurate in data entry with 10-key operation experience
  • Experience using Lawson Software, and Salesforce
  • $22 - $25/hr, based on experience
