  • Assist customers with product questions, ordering, order tracking
  • Enter orders into system for billing and delivery
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch
  • Issue credits or debits accurately when applicable
  • Assist with physical inventory counts
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Take sales orders from sales representatives and customers by phone and email
  • Assist walk-in counter customers and drivers
  • Facilitate new account and credit approvals
  • Categorize, scan and maintain ship ticket copies for audit purposes and file all customer records
  • Print and distribute e-mailed customer purchase orders
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Basic math skills
  • Experience working in a technical or industrial organization, providing customer service and inside sales support is preferred
  • Excellent computer skills. Including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
  • Ability to think on your feet, by assessing, planning and strategic troubleshooting
  • Self-motivated and driven professional
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, and fingers to use a computer and keyboard
  • Bending and some lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work indoors in a climate controlled environment. Occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
