  • Primary focus of quoting and managing all direct sales. In this role you will interact with Operations, Sales, Production and Finance to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is delivered.
  • Prepare quotes through our software system CPQ
  • Ensure quotes are accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Assist customer with product questions, ordering, order tracking, complaints and issues
  • Utilizing Salesforce to track quotes
  • Proactively work with and manage house accounts to grow relationship and increase revenue
  • Utilize Salesforce to create and manage opportunities related to house accounts and team quotes
  • Send leads to house accounts and follow up
  • Project manage special orders for all Oldcastle Pacific locations
  • Coordinate shipping to job sites for commercial projects
  • Manage open order reports for backlog
  • Heavy order management due to the complexity of commercial jobs
  • Enter orders into system for billing and delivery
  • Retrieve needed information such as preliminary lien information for the credit department
  • Issue credits or debits accurately when applicable
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Categorize, file, and maintain ship ticket copies for audit purposes and file all customer records
  • Print and distribute e-mailed customer purchase orders
  • Comfortable working in a process driven environment
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
  • Execute Daily and Business fundamentals
  • Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the customer service process

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to multi-task, answer phones and enter orders
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, good with basic math
  • Detail oriented, good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred
  • ERP knowledge and experience (Cloud) and Salesforce experience preferred
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands, and fingers to use a computer and keyboard
  • Extensive Phone Use
  • Slight lifting of ship tickets and overnight packages
  • Pay: $23 - $25 per hour
