  • Develop and execute comprehensive production plans (short, medium, and long-term) to optimize operations and support production goals
  • Participate in development and execution of Capital Improvement projects including resource management, project planning, financial planning and reporting
  • Schedule and manage production activities such as Drilling and Blasting, Material Haulage and Plant operations
  • Utilize software for projects including mine planning, production planning, process improvements and capital investments
  • Promote the integration of technology and innovative engineering practices to improve cost efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability
  • Monitor and analyze daily production reports, collaborating with quality control teams to address and resolve stone quality issues
  • Oversee daily production operations, ensuring resources are available to meet production schedules without delays
  • Plans and coordinates activities of personnel
  • Direct and train employees on new tasks and operational procedures, fostering a culture of safety and professional development
  • Supervise contractors to ensure adherence to safety and performance standards
  • Assist with MSHA inspections
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures
  • Strict adherence to Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Code of Business Conduct
  • Ability to perform under pressure to complete tasks accurately and on time
  • Highly developed oral, verbal, and written communication skills and an ability to work with management and peers
  • Capability to present plans to wide array of audience
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
  • Ability to be a self-starter
  • Ability to perform and prioritize short- and long-term expectations with minimal direction/oversight as needed
  • Mentor less experienced members of the team
  • Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all employees; employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home regularly
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
