If you’re detail-oriented, experienced in concrete quality control, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, this role is for you. We’re looking for a candidate with 3-5 years of experience in concrete materials testing, with proven proficiency in field and lab testing methods. The ideal candidate will have strong math and analytical skills, a high standard of ethics and integrity, and the drive to contribute to our growing team.
- 3-5 years of experience in concrete testing
- Strong math and analytical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC programs
- Demonstrated proficiency in field and lab testing procedures for concrete and aggregates
- Current ACI Concrete Technician Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and external customers
- Safety-oriented professional with reliable performance and attendance
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must pass physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing
- Current U.S. Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date
- Valid driver’s license
- Collect samples from concrete or aggregate plants
- Performs field tests for density or other properties
- Performs aggregate and concrete performance testing
- Process and analyze samples using testing equipment and procedures
- Accurately record and enter data into computer systems
- Communicate test results promptly to supervisors, plant staff and when appropriate, customers
- Identify material inconsistencies and communicate solutions
- Assist with plant quality control efforts to ensure compliance with standards
- Collaborate with production teams to improve material performance
- Travel to and from various sites
- Keep a clean, safe, and properly maintained work environment and follow all safety protocols
- Perform general maintenance duties as assigned

- VISION – 20/40 corrected vision to see moving safety hazards, moving equipment, vehicles, and obstructions
- HEARING – corrected to hear verbal safety warnings and instructions from coworkers
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
- Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
