Job Responsibilities
 

  • Enter orders into system for billing and delivery
  • Prepare quotes and coordinate mailings
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Categorize, file, and maintain ship ticket copies for audit purposes and file all customer records
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks
  • Properly check in at time of receiving the goods and supplies
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure packaging meets specifications
  • Help control inventory by following pick ticket rules and regulations
  • Responsible for the lock down of each bay and personnel door located in the warehouse
  • Deliver paperwork to inventory office in timely manner after issues
  • Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records
  • Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
  • Print and assess any changes in Dispatch Reports that may need expediting

  • Receive and locate all incoming material from truck and other sources into the ROI locations provided

Job Requirements
 

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED, Associate's degree or above in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Equivalent relevant work experience or military experience is a plus
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Detail oriented
  • Good with basic math
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to lift products and other objects weighing up to 65 lbs. and engaging in team lifting or using lifting device when the individual deems it necessary
  • Frequent walking, climbing stairs, bending, crouching, standing, extending arms to reach, etc.
  • Able to work in dusty, small, noisy, hot and cold environments
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of the wrist, hands and fingers to use a PC and keyboard
  • Bending and some lifting
  • Extensive phone and radio use
  • Tasks can be very repetitive
  • Slight lifting of ship tickets and overnight packages
