  • Provides “hands on” leadership to a team of direct reports, to obtain optimum productivity, while reaching strategic goals.
  • Supervise warehouse and fulfillment team to ensure safe and efficient daily operations.
  • Promotes a safe work environment with a goal of zero accidents.
  • Ensures effective utilization of resources via cross-training and prioritization of activities and staff.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving, critical thinking, and prioritization of work and resolves issues as they arise in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Communicates effectively to ensure prompt and proper information exchanges and issue resolution.
  • Oversees and assists with all daily shipping/ receiving/ inventory/ ordering activities.
  • Manages expectations with other departments on deliverables and dates related to client requests.
  • Assists in development and execution of short-and long-term goals, consistent with established organizational goals and objectives.
  • Assists with staff selection, performance, development, and training processes to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach business goals and expectations.
  • Assigns workloads and daily tasks to warehouse and fulfillment associates.
  • Leads monthly inventory and cycle counting.
  • Oversees and coordinates daily delivery and pick up schedules.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Ensuring warehouse is clean and maintained.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Completion of High School and/or College and any combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, abilities, and skills:
  • 3 plus years of relevant experience. Preferably in directing and/or managing warehouse operations, receiving, inventory control and/or order fulfillment role.  Previous experience planning work and directing manufacturing resources to meet production and customer service targets a plus.
  • Strength and agility sufficient to lift and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Exposure to loud noises and mixed temperatures.
  • May include weekends.
  • Excellent communication, planning, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Considerable knowledge of the safe and correct use of hand and power tools and equipment common to the manufacturing workplace.
  • Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work. OSHA -ability to implement new regulations.
  • Strong ability to lead, plan, and manage warehouse operations activities.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize changing situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
  • Proficient in tracking database software concepts.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and gain their trust.
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Knowledge of industrial product lines such as pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, or similar industrial tangible goods helpful.
  • Knowledge of FedEx, UPS, USPS, and freight carriers (LTL & TL) processing.
  • Forklift certification a plus.
  • Must have valid AZ driver’s license.
